Stirling and I made these simple "tye dye" shirts for the family. All we did was take plain white shirts, color dots and spots on them with rainbow colored Sharpie markers, then use an eyedropper to squirt rubbing alcohol on the color spots. The alcohol makes the markers bleed and voila! A super quick, three-year old friendly tye dye T-shirt. I'll have to get a picture of the boys wearing theirs and post that too.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project for Stirling. Like your Mom, I might give that a try too. Do you know how they hold up in the wash, if there is any color bleed?
