Family Things

This morning I got to snuggle both of my boys in my lap at the same time. Logan had been really fussy, and Stirling was being stubborn and cranky. I lost my temper and got upset at Stirling. Of course, I immediately felt terrible and invited him onto my lap for a hug. That snuggle time together was a balm to all of our spirits. The three of us were able to share that time and make a fresh start to our day. I feel so lucky when I get to have moments like that with my boys.

I finally have pictures of the boys wearing their "tye-dye" shirts that we made last month. I think they turned out really cute.

Stirling loves to use yarn to wrap around the stair railings to make a sort of web. I usually try to untangle and re-roll as much of it as I can. This last time, we had to cut a bunch of the yarn off the railing, and rather than let it go to waste, I did this project with Stirling. I wrote the letters and Stirling said their names and sounds, then I traced with glue and Stirling stuck the yarn on the letters. It is a neat visual as we enter the house to remind us how important family is in our lives.
